Russia, UN discuss exports of Russian food, fertilizers

MOSCOW, Oct 4 (PRIME) -- Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin and UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan have discussed exports of Russian fertilizers and food over the phone, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement late on Monday.

Vershinin and Grynspan exchanged their opinions on implementation of the July food deal reached in Istanbul. The Russian side stressed the importance of actual advancement for Russian exports, while Grynspan informed Vershinin about the efforts of U.N. experts in this regard, the ministry said.
